A new trailer has been released for Michael Bay’s “Transformers: Age of Extinction” (in theaters June 27). After going small with “Pain and Gain,” the bombastic director seems to have gone bigger than ever in the latest installment of the saga.

Will this be the fun, thrilling, not insultingly dumb Transformers flick some of us have been waiting for?
