Teaser Poster for ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ continues “Broken Hero” Trend

S.H.I.E.L.D. should take better of their shields. In the first teaser poster of “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, the emblematic weapon of The First Avenger looks scratched and dented.

It reminds me of the damaged masks in The Dark Knight Rises and Iron Man 3. In the final chapter of their respective trilogies those heroes were transformed by the brutal confrontations they had to endure.

The question is if Steve Rogers will suffer as much as Wayne and Stark in this sequel, or, as it happened with the first movie, the posters are way somber than the actual story.

We will know the answer when The Winter Soldier opens in theaters April 4, 2014 (USA).
