The film, directed by Oliver Stone (Nixon, Natural Born Killers, Born on the Fourth of July), stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Shailene Woodley, Scott Eastwood, Timothy Olyphant, Nicolas Cage, Zachary Quinto, Joely Richardson, Melissa Leo, Rhys Ifans, and Tom Wilkinson.

SNOWDEN will be released in theaters on September 16.

SNOWDEN stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and is written and directed by Oliver Stone. The script is based on the books The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World’s Most Wanted Man by Luke Harding and Time of the Octopus by Anatoly Kucherena.
