The new film RISEN (now in theaters) tells the Biblical story of the Resurrection with a new perspective and narrative style. In this mystery drama, a Roman Military Tribune called Clavius (Joseph Fiennes) investigates the desesperance of Yeshua’s body (Cliff Curtis) after the Crucifixion.

I talked to both talented and gracious actors about their experience making the Sony-released movie.

RISEN , directed by Kevin Reynolds (The Count of Monte Cristo, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves), also stars Tom Felton, Peter Firth, and María Botto.

Follows the epic Biblical story of the Resurrection, as told through the eyes of a non-believer. Clavius, a powerful Roman Military Tribune, and his aide Lucius, are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Jesus in the weeks following the crucifixion, in order to disprove the rumors of a risen Messiah and prevent an uprising in Jerusalem.
