Coming to theaters on May 2, 2025, ROSARIO marks the feature film debut of Colombian director Felipe Vargas, known for his atmospheric short Milk Teeth. Produced by Mucho Más Media, the film explores the immigrant experience of a Latino family in the United States through a supernatural lense.

At the center is Rosario Fuentes, played by Emeraude Toubia (With Love), a successful Wall Street stockbroker whose carefully ordered life is disrupted when her abuela dies. Returning to her childhood apartment in Washington Heights, Rosario finds herself pulled into a strange and unsettling series of events tied to her family’s past and the espíritus that may still linger there.

Joining Toubia are David Dastmalchian (Late Night with The Devil), José Zúñiga (Twilight), and Diana Lein (The Head of Joaquin Murrieta), among other talented actors.

Desde Hollywood has the honor of premiering the below clip, titled “Mother,” which perfectly encapsulates the movie’s eerie fusion of ancient and new, the mystical and the mundane.
