One of the greatest horror characters in history is back in CULT OF CHUCKY, the seventh installment in the Child’s Play franchise, and the follow up to the solid “Curse of Chucky.”

Writer-director Don Mancini helms his third installment in a row, with returning talents Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany, Fiona Dourif as Nica, and Brad Dourif as the iconic voice of Chucky.

After watching a copy of the movie I can say that every single moment that Chucky is on-screen is very thrilling and entertaining. The technical execution and the acting is effective, while the story could have had a better development and resolution. Still, if you are a fan of the evil and little “good guy,” you definitely should consider checking this one out.

CULT OF CHUCKY is now available Blu-ray™, DVD, Digital and On Demand from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

Confined to an asylum for the criminally insane for the past four years, Nica (Dourif) is wrongly convinced that she, not Chucky, murdered her entire family. But when her psychiatrist introduces a new group-therapy tool — a “Good Guy” doll — a string of grisly deaths plague the asylum and Nica starts to wonder if maybe she isn’t crazy after all. Andy (Vincent), Chucky’s now-grownup nemesis from the original Child’s Play, races to Nica’s aid. But to save her he’ll have to get past Tiffany (Tilly), Chucky’s long-ago bride, who will do anything, no matter how deadly or depraved, to help her beloved devil doll.
