Damon-Lindelof-StarWars-Tomorrowland

Damon Lindelof (Star Trek: Into Darkness) likes mysteries. He is a master of talking about the projects that he has written and/or produced without giving anything away. The presentation that him and director Brad Bird (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol) gave to promote the upcoming film Tomorrowland at the D23 Expo left more questions than answers.

On the red carpet at least we were able to get him talking about the tone of the movie:

“It doesn’t take itself too seriously. It is a really fun adventure. But it will actually be about something. It’s going to have emotion and characters you really care about.”

Being at a Disney event and talking to J.J. Abrams’ closest collaborator we couldn’t resist asking him about Star Wars: Episode VII:

“It couldn’t be in better hands. I don’t know anything, honestly. People go ‘I don’t believe you!’ […] As long as Han Solo shoots somebody in it and Luke Skywalker has a light saber, the rest is gravy.”

Are you OK with the fact that Lindelof has nothing to do with the new Star Wars movie?
