Robert Rodriguez’ Machete Kills looks crazier than the first one. The absurd comedy and over the top action of the trailers suggest a unique mix of genres that has less ties with reality than his other franchise, Spy Kids.

Many have shared the final poster for the sequel but nobody seems to have noticed the totally new character at the center of this busy marketing piece. Lets zoom in.

Did a once celebrated Hollywwod icon took a step further and became a super villain probably more cartoonish than Raul Julia’s Bison in Street Fighter?

If that’s the case, we will have to wait until October 11 to see if it’s so bad it’s good, or just plain terrible.
