James Wan is a busy guy. This year two movies directed by him were released (one fantastic, The Conjuring, one disappointing, Insidious: Chapter 2) and he is currently on set directing Fast and Furious 7. Another film will bear his name on the poster next year, with the line “James Wan Presents” to be precise. The horror film, produced by him and based on a story he wrote, has been known for many months as ‘Untitled James Wan Thriller’ (including its IMDB page). Desde Hollywood has obtained a new synopsis of the film -currently in post production- with a title that follows the trend set by “Insidious” and “Sinister”. “DEMONIC takes place after the massacre of five college students in an abandoned house. As investigators begin to unravel the murders, they uncover clues to what began as an innocent ghost-hunting excursion but eventually turned into a terrifying escapade involving the house itself.” Demonic was directed by Will Canon (who shares writing credits for the screenplay with Doug Simon and Max La Bella) and has in its cast talents like Maria Bello, Frank Grillo, Cody Horn, Scott Mechlowicz, Aaron Yoo, Megan Park and Dustin Milligan. There is no release date yet.
