Halloween Season is lurking around the corner and two anticipated horror movies have released their first trailers to help us get in the spirit (no pun intended).

The most memorable thing from the fantastic “The Conjuring” was without a doubt that evil doll. The spin-off/prequel “Annabelle” (brought to theaters on October 3 by Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema) will be centered around the extremely creepy character.

The director of the original, James Wan, takes a producer role while John Leonetti directs a cast headed by Annabelle Wallis, Alfre Woodard, Ward Horton, Tony Amendola, Eric Ladin, and Brian Howe.

The darkest Hasbro property will get its cinematic adaptation in “Ouija” (in theaters on October 24). Watch the trailer and read the synopses below.

In Ouija, a group of friends must confront their most terrifying fears when they awaken the dark powers of an ancient spirit board. Stiles White directs the supernatural thriller that is produced by Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller (The Purge, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th) alongside Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity and Insidious series, The Purge), Bennett Schneir (Battleship) and Hasbro. Juliet Snowden and Stiles White wrote the script for Ouija, and Universal will distribute the film worldwide.

Did you watch them both? Congratulations! Now enjoy a few cat videos to exorcise those images.
