The city of love, Paris, becomes much more sinister in “As Above So Below” a new exciting horror thriller from Universal Studios, opening nationwide this Friday August 29.

After seeing and enjoying the chilling ride inside these hellish catacombs I had the pleasure of sitting down with director, co-writer John Erick Dowdle and his brother Drew Dowdle, who also co-wrote and produced the film.

In our exclusive interview they discuss the challenges of shooting in such confined locations, mixing mythologies in the story, having a female protagonist, taking advantage of the found-footage technique, and much more.
